plenty of cold water that should take the heat out of it and if it really hurts pour yourself a large vodka with plenty of ice and hold in burnt hand the cold drink will take the heat out of it and the vodka will ease your pain no problem ps take two paracetamol for the sore head in the morning .

Always run cold water over burn for at least 10 minutes, 20 minutes for a chemical burn. Remove any rings, finger may swell, seek medical advice.

The general advice is to leave well alone for 24 hours. Cooling it with water and washing very gently can't harm. After the natural processes have started to work, then you can apply healing creams and keep the site from getting infected.

Cold water, anything that very cold to cool the burn leave on for as long as possible. This will cool down the layers under the skin.

Call your doctor and ask if they will call in "Silverden" its for burns. It's a white thick cream that you pat onto the burn.

Nelsons burn cream. Its a mild anaesthetic and we use it at work. I used it today when my colleague handed me an extremely hot plate that disintegrated my fingerprints!

well i dnt think its of any help now but when you get a burn you're suppose to wrap cling film round it and pour cold water over that cling film.
you dnt directly put it under water because then you'll get blisters.
