Well, it'd have to be;
1) a miracle (something completely impossible, against the laws of physics)
2) foretold, and repeatable (so we know it's something deliberate and not a natural occurence)
So, if god would announce that next tuesday at 3pm he's to stop gravity for a moment, and again exatly week later. I'd believe he exists...or I'd be willing to call any being with that much power god, just to be sure of not annoying him/her/it.
Pretty simple really.

1. It would have to be an act that only an omnipotent being could perform
2. Multiple witnesses and videotaped proof (so know I'm not crazy)
3. Explainations about wht is really going on in the universe.
Meet all three and I'll believe.

I would need physical proof - seeing and hearing god preform some sort of miracle. The whole parting of the Red Sea thing seems kinda neat or turning water to wine!
But anyone who sees these kind of visions needs mental help so I would probably then question my own sanity rather than conforming to christianity.

Evidence that could repeatedly tested and always get the same results every single time. I'm willing to acknowledge the existence of deities if proof like this ever became available, but it hasn't happened so far and many hundreds of years have passed.

The only proof I need is an easy one
if he is the only true god, all I ask is that he unite all religions
since there is only one god there should be only one way to worship him one religion
It dosent matter what religion
One reason for this is, there are several different ways to worship god (jesus), like Mormon, Christianity, or Catholics
what is the reason for this?
If he can do this I will convert

Every single person on the face of the Earth in one instant suddenly being in perfect health, with sufficient means to produce nutritious food, clean water, and adequate housing.
That's a bit much though, admittedly...
Heck, how about just one amputee regrowing a limb without technological involvement?

I require evidence that is measurable and tangible. That I can study and draw a learned conclusion that God must exist.
The evidence must NOT be attributable to any other myth and cannot require faith.
Faith is not reliable, as there are millions of people who use faith to believe in religions that completely disagree with one another.
Basically, if I can use evidence presented to prove God, to prove the existence of Leprechauns, I must reject it.
If God exists, he would understand this, and provide tangible evidence for mankind, so that they could make a reasoned decision to follow him and his will. Without such evidence, he is dictating that humans that must rely on tangible evidence will be lost. Which is cruel.
The belief that science is willfully ignoring evidence for God is not based in reality, it is established to support faith based belief. Anyone who has been around scientists know that they are very diligent at turning hypothesis into theory, and if one shred of evidence could be relied on to prove there was a God, the scientist who discovered it would be universally lauded. Religious people have to believe that Scientist are conspiratorially ignoring proof for God, because it helps them maintain belief.

He could start by showing up at my doorstep...what, are you saying an infinite being couldn't MAKE the time to speak to me personally, if it's really that important to him that I do what's right?

Let me ask you a question. Is it possible that God is too big to fit only your narrow view of what God is? Isn't it possible that there are many ways to view God and your way is only one of them?
