I live in a rental property but my landlord allows me to garden. I plant flowers I know are food sources for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and larger, seed-eating birds.
Taking care of the small creatures that cohabit the neighborhood gives me a reason to spend more time outdoors, too.

I am cooking some robins I shot with a BB gun because I think they look like cute little appetizer chickens and hey - they're free. It brings a little nature to a party don't you think?
