At times the world feels so empty and I feel lonely and sad. There is absolutely no reason for me to feel this way because everything is just fine but I still feel it. Why do you think I feel that way? Do you guys feel that way too? If you do when and why?

Try focusing on the positive. The things you think about eventually become the things in your life, so think about the the things that are wonderful and fine - and soon you'll begin to feel wonderful and fine.

Feeling lonely and sad and empty is a natural result of living in a world in which the life here is not anything like the life we should be living or the life we were designed to live. This world is a corrupt and wretched place. But we have the hope of a future life in God's presence, where the corruption of this world will not exist. We also have God's Spirit that comforts and strengthens us to walk in this world until we enter the next. It does not make rational sense to a fleshly human mind, bu it is nevertheless true that, when we praise God and give him thanks, we feel a lot better.

Yes, sometimes. Most people get a little depressed once in a while. It's especially common among younger people.

It's only a problem if you feel that way a lot, or can't find ways to bring yourself out of depression. If that's the case, you should talk to a doctor about getting treatment. A lot of people need treatment for depression - it's nothing to be ashamed of or afraid of. :)

I feel like this sometimes to. When the negative out weighs the positive it's never a good thing, and there is most def more negative than positive going on. sometimes it seems like there just aren't that many good people left that can make such a positive impact in the world and whats going on today.

Its depression dear. Many people are suffering from it. It increases a lot last decade. Now 1/4 of people suffer from it.

The reason might be ur genetics, ur childhood, adolecent and family or some bad experiences u went through.

My self i dont think meds heal, it may improve but it doesnt heal. Depression is like hotel california once you get in you cant get out.

Occasionally. But then I go for a jog or write, and I feel like myself again.

You just need to find a method of release. Unless you feel that way often, then you may need to see a doctor, because depression isn't normal.

God placed a yearning for a relationship with Him within everyone. Most misinterpret this and seek solace in bad relationships, drugs, partying, the occult etc. Some get sad and feel miserable without knowing why.

You will only be content when you have Jesus in your heart. To do that you have to give your life (commit) to Him, belong to a 5-fold ministry church and become baptised with the Holy Spirit.

Be careful, there are many 'churches' out there. - most of them spiritually inert or corrupt with occultic practices. Look for a pentacostal church that has shown steady growth over the past few years - thats an indicator that they follow God properly so He blesses them.

Avoid churches with an alter (satanic, anglican, catholic etc) - alters are only needed for human sacrifice, if only symbolicly.

Know and understand that there is satanic human sacrifice in suburbs of every village, town or city in every country - every month!! Mostly these are 'breeder' babies but every occult festival adults, including many girls still at school, are sacrificed. How can you protect yourself or loved ones?

If the church doesnt believe in Holy Spirit baptism then try another. Remember that the satanic equivalent of Holy Spirit baptism is to receive your so-called 'spirit guide' - a very powerful, but ultimately defeated demon.

Be aware and ask God to send His Holy Spirit to guide you thru this process at all time, remembering to place the 'armour of God' on yourself at all times!

Most church leaders dont teach you this kind of stuff and when crap happens, you wander what went wrong despite going to church every week blah blah. You need to become spiritally innoculated! Unless, of course, you want to join the losers occult club?

I have read the Christian encouragement on this post - reflect on these answers and avoid taking drugs - its not a medical condition. God said "I did not give you a spirit of fear, but of a sound mind etc." Mental problems are for those who dont have Jesus in their lives! Taking pills is for those who dont want to change but need a cop out!

Most of all, God wants you to be joyfull, prosperous and have a long life - does this sound like you!

HTH! :)

I feel that way when I think of all the suffering in the world, it's so overwhelming. The good side to that is it makes me appreciate what I have even more.

It's called depression - lots of people experience it. For most it comes and goes, for some medication helps. Keep talking to people and you'll find it is more common than you might think.

Remember, we are called to be pilgrims and strangers on the earth. This world is not our true home if we trust in Christ. Our citizenship is in heaven.

We need to get our eyes off of ourselves, our problems, our situations, and remember who we are in Christ!

discouragement, depression, "the blues"? NOT FOR THE CHRISTIAN! Discouragement is from the enemy!

We are called to rejoice, give thanks, be filled with the Spirit!

The Christian life is meant to be the happiest life on earth!

(sure, it happens to me, too, sometimes... feelings of sadness or loneliness...but it ain't from God!)

god bless
