I mean they voted on the name, so they too should have threatened with death. Or because they were Muslims it didn't apply. It seems that Muslims have 2 standards, Muslims and non-Muslims. Did the parents of these students get in trouble?

Muslims keep doing such things in every country from time to time. And when non-muslims critisize them, they demonstrate violently. Some moderate muslims start defending Islam telling the world its such a peacful religion. It has become a joke now.
But they don't do anything for muslims killing millions of their own muslims over years like in Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Sudan, etc. They keep quiet, their blood does not boil. They have no problem with suicide bombers, wahabi philosphy which trates women almost like slaves.
The psychological analysis of this fact is that they have too much insecurity about their religion, too much inferiority complex as their societies are falling behind; in fact going back to middle ages. And they can't stand other non-muslim countries having fun and enjoying life.
Since they can't do it but can see everything through media and movies; develop a big frustration. And it comes out as violence as a defence mechanism.
Only they can fix their societies.
I wonder what the hell that British teacher was doing in that muslim country. It served her right and gives a message to other like minded people.

I don't think they did get in trouble. It is a double standard. That's why, this year, I put a teddy bear with a santa hat on my Yule tree and named it Mohammed. It's not that I don't like Islam or Muslims. I just think they're too sensitive and need to get some backbone.

no because the kids are too young and didn't know any better. also there are many kids named Mohamed in the world. It is also the most popular name in the world. The kids were just thinking to name the teddy bear after there hero. They had just been thought that and there too young to understand that it could've been bad.

Muslims do seem to have two standards ie: they demand other religions respect them, but they seem to have no respect for other religions. They blew up the Buddha's and defecated in the christian church in the HolyLand when they were holed up the there. They had no qualms about damaging that church, but go nuts is a mosque is damaged. What do you expect to happen if you have snipers in the mosque???What do you think? Educate me if I am wrong....

Since they were children, the teacher was expected to correct their mistake. Thus, the woman was still considered responsible.

The parents of all those kids should be ashamed for not teaching their children such an apparently crucial bit of culture, though.

Probably not a damn thing -- they're too young to know better.

But you're absolutely right about it being a two-tiered system -- the Qur'an makes it crystal clear that non-Muslims are second-class citizens (if they're not put to death outright)...

I hope that they were rescued from that environment of savage, insane Muslims.

I also think that Britain should have sent them a letter, endorsed by the U.S. that the next time it happens, an atomic bomb will be dropped directly on top of The Main Mosque.

More importantly, did Senator Craig manage to get out of his plea to the "feeling up an undercover cop's foot while in the toilet" charge yet? There is a standard, after all, for Christian Senators and another for Atheist business owners, isn't there...
