I have a ntsc (canada) ps3 and i have a pal lcd with hd do you think that my ps3 will work good with the tv even then my tv is pal and my ps3 is ntsc ?
if i will play games with hdmi cable it will work ?
and with regular av cable ?

PAL and NTSC are ANALOG color encodings, whereas HD is a digital encoding. It's like a computer monitor, there are no PAL or NTSC computer monitors, right?

I don't think you can play a NTSC PS3 on a PAL tv system because the way they work is different, I read somewhere that the PS3 does not discriminate against regional DVD's and it is actually the disc manufacturers who block the read files for copyright reasons but I don't know if it actually applies to hardware so maybe your best bet would be to go to Playstation.com and check out the specs in case you do both the PS3 and the TV serious damage.

That's a GQ my HO MEE. I'd say the VC in the PS3 won't drive the LCD because the format is NC (non compatible)
