finest. What criminal result, if any, this might have will in all hazard land up being taken care of out via the courts; devoid of reading the records, I have no concept no count if one side can unilaterally abrogate such agreements. in basic terms bear in mind that the final time a physique of human beings tried to secede, the end result replaced right into a protracted and extremely nasty conflict. My perfect desires to the Lakotas for a passable selection of the topics. And a raspberry to the BIA for ordinary incompetence.

No, they aren't illegals. They might be creating a situation where US citizens could be illegal. A lot of the definition depends on general and legal acceptance of the terms.

If a Chinese or Colombian or German comes here with "illegal" status, it's because the whole world recognizes China or Colombia or Germany as a separate political sovereign state.

Until a similar thing occurs with the Lakota Nation, they'll still be US Citizens. 'Tis hard to beat convention.

The Constitution ensures the right to secede - Lincoln ignored it. The first of many politicians.

Currently there are about 10 states with secessionist movements.
