We have been told that our bodies are temples because God wants to live in our heart and that we are not to defile this temple by giving into sin. Many times while Jesus was on earth many priests and government officials tried to find excuses to have Jesus arrested because he had a following that was growing and they feared that they would soon loose their hold over the people. One of these times they tried to see if they could trick Jesus into answering a question that went something like this: Do you pay money to your king or the priests Jesus told them Give to God what is God's and give to Ceasar what is ceasars...in other words give your tithes (a portion of your income set aside for the church) and pay your taxes....(on the lighter side of this question, I quess your temple body lives on land that is taxed by the government like most of us do..) I wonder..would that be mixing church and state?

I don't pay any taxes for my body. I would assume prostitutes who fill out tax forms are the only people who do.

FYI Ladies. If I did have to pay taxes, my twig and berries would be in the highest tax bracket because they are so money.

I'm so getting reported for this.

Just make less than $20,000 a year, get on a liberal government program and you won't have to pay taxes.
Or pay me $1,000, I'll give you a certificate that enables you to put the word "Reverend" in front of your name and you won't have to pay taxes, just like Rev. Al Sharpton or Rev. Jesse Jackson

You pay taxes to support the government that God instituted for our benefit. Remember even the Lord Jesus paid His tax.

Hope that helps.
