Since there are so many different religions (Gods) why don't we hold elections every few years to see who will be God Almighty? This could coincide with a Supreme Religious Leader (instead of a Pope, for example) and the politicians could all seek advice from the SRL and blame him/her when things went wrong.

It's a good idea, all the atheists would probably vote for buddhism.

Still, i don't think that we should replace politics with religion.

I know who i'd vote for, and i'm sorry to say it but i'll be 'throwing my vote away'.
