One egg, 1 cup broth, 2 Tablespoons of oil
Mix the wet ingredients.
Mix in enough flour to make a very stiff dough.
Roll on well floured surface with a floured rolling pin to about ¼ inch thick. Cut into desired sizes and bake at 250º for two hours. Will render about 2-3 dozen.
BTW, those sound like some pretty plain cookies! How about adding one tsp of garlic powder (not salt) or 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic. Also, dogs love cheese! Add 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan before throwing in the flour.
Dogs adore home made treats. I make them for my dogall the time.

I once experimented with making dog biscuits. I mixed up the logical ingredients, baked them for what seems a good amount of time (like cookies, right?) and let them cool. Smelled really good...for a dog biscuit that is.
I gave one of them to my spaniel and he sniffed and and very politely took it and smiling walked up the isle in my store. He hunted around for the perfect spot and put the biscuit under a display stand. I wasn't sure what he was saying but I gave him another biscuit and he started off in another direction and hid the biscuit in a basket of ribbons.(shoved it to the bottom of the basket.) After 2 more biscuits I got the idea.....he appreciated my efforts but just didn't not want to eat one. We had a good laugh at my ONE attempt at biscuits.
Hope you have better luck.....or just go buy them.

This is really simple.
2 cups flour
1egg
1/4 cup canola
1/4 cup chicken broth
Depending on how dry the ingredients are or how wet depends on climate dough etc.... so if to wet add more flour til it is human biscuit consistency ( just remember you'll need flour to cut them into shapes so a little wet is okay because you'll be using addt'l flour...)
GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BAKING
YOU can also dip these in white almond bark,
(NOT CHOCOLATE)

Depends on what kind of dog you are using.
You might need two chiuauas to make a good biscuit, but if you puree a pit bull, then you'll have too much and probably need to save the leftovers in some tupperware dishes.
I like my biscuits with ground beef to be honest, its a lot more readily available, but to each his own.
