The statement is: "If you have faith (like) as a grain of mustard seed..."
Jesus elsewhere said this:
"It (the Kingdom of God) is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground..." Mark 4:21
Therefore what Jesus was stating is that if you have faith as small as a grain of mustard seed - not that you have faith like a mustard seed has faith.
That is why you cannot take passages of Scripture out of context - you must compare Scripture with Scripture.

Where do you people come from?
As many have answered already the quote from the Bible refers to having faith the SIZE of a mustard seed, which is very, very small; not that the mustard seed has faith.
Also, where did you hear that Zen or any other religions believe plants go to heaven?
And what's the remark about 'non-profit' supposed to mean? Maybe you meant 'non-prophet'?

He compared faith to a mustard seed, something with which the disciples were quite familiar. Though among “the tiniest,” a mustard seed after a few months of growth would become a treelike plant. (Matthew 13:31, 32) Thus, Jesus was stressing the great potential that a little faith could have when properly cultivated and nourished—the seemingly impossible would become possible.

I think you have a misunderstanding of the parable you heard.
The verse is as follows:
Mat 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
What is being discussed is that if a person has faith the size of a mustard seed, then nothing is impossible. The idea of mustard seeds or other animals or plants having faith is not discussed here.

Are you being deliberately obtuse, or are you just another of these people who thinks that by somehow perverting what things REALLY say you can be funny and clever?
The actual quote is "If YOU have faith the size of a mustard seed..."
What you are saying would be akin to someone saying to you "my love for you is as deep as the ocean," and you answer, "But the ocean can't love!!!"
No one said the mustard seed had faith. It's a little thing called an analogy. Look it up.
You aren't funny. Blasphemy never is.

It nowhere says that a mustardseed has faith.
A mustard seed is very small.
Jesus said; If you have faith the size of a mustard seed----
Implying a very small amount of faith.

That's not what Jesus meant. You misunderstood, what he said.
Jesus was saying that as small as a mustard seed is.
If you faith is as small as a mustard seed. then you can make it grow. And you can do wonders with it.
That what Jesus was saying.
I can not find the verse. but i know what it says, and what Jesus meant.
Sometimes people, need to listen to their own heart for answers. Instead of listening to others..

No, the reference in the Bible to a mustard seed means this:
Mustard seeds are tiny. If anyone has faith in God as a mustard seed, then their faith is really huge.
