if she is deployed and becomes pregnant, she can actually get into a lot of trouble for that. Like Article 15 or worse trouble.
If just serving and not in a deployed status, and single she will be given the option to get out if she wants. If married, not generally unless her spouse is also Active Duty.

She is removed from deployment status.
Given the choice of administratively separating from the service or
having a family care plan and staying in.
But if a female soldier, get pregnant while deployed., she will be investigated to see if the pregnancy was for the sole purpose of getting out of the deployment.
If that is the case, then she will be court martialed.
Once at fort campbell, a female soldier who wanted to get out of the army, when door to door in the barracks, sleeping with a different guy every night, untill she became pregnant.
They court martialed her and gave her a bad conduct discharge.

She is sent back to the states ASAP.
I received a new soldier in Iraq and it turns out we sent her right back because her husband knocked her up the night before she left to deploy.
In the states they have the option to get out of the military or they will be given limited duty during the pregnancy, then maternity leave and then they are back to duty.

First, she would be placed on limited duty and removed from any combat area.
If she had a non-military person (husband, other family member) that could care for the child, she could remain on active duty and return to full duty after the delivery.
If she did not have someone that could care for the child, she would be discharged.
I knew a few woman while I was in the Navy that were active duty and had children. They were all married. I also knew a single woman that got discharged after she had a child.

She will get sent back and in some trouble. If you are get pregnant on regular duty you can go to the field up to 20 wks after that pretty much a dead mans profile, depending if you have complications etc.

This question is one of many reasons that the military initially did not want to have female personnel. Equality has to be measured in the context that it is being applied.

I think she has to be placed on non-combat duties, something safer to do and in a safer place. But she doesn't get to totally wiggle out of her military obligation, so it's not a good strategy for getting out of the military.

I would recommend a Court Martial.
I would also recommend an investigation and recomend one for the SM that nailed her.
