Some People (Like Me) Just Hate Their Natural Hair Colour.
Its Basically Just The Same As Putting Make Up On, Its Just Changing Something So It Looks Better.

I don't think so. Some people just like a change in their look. I can't even tell that some people dye their hair. It obviously looks ridiculous when brunettes dye their hair bleach blonde because you can tell it's not them. Especially by their eyebrows.

no. some people look better with a hair colour different to the natural colour. and so what if they are vain, i'm vain and id rather be vain then walk around looking a mess

umm not necessarily. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. so maybe you think everyone who dyes their hair looks ridiculous, but I dye my hair a darker, warmer shade of brown and I don't think I look ridiculous. and I'm not vain either. just because someone does something to their outward appearance, doesn't mean it changes them inside. so just because someone dyes their hair, doesn't mean their vain

It's not vanity, it's about wanting to try something new, recapture their youth, or fit in. Everyone wants to feel good about himself or herself, so if dying his/her hair makes him/her feel good, go for it.
It usually doesn't look ridiculous unless the person does a bad dye job (chunky highlights for teens, uncovered roots for the middle aged, or blue/any color hair on wrinkly old ladies). Personally, I think a lot of people look great with their natural color, but if it makes them happy... Anyway, people dye hair for the same reasons they use make up, shower daily, use perfumes and deoderants--there's no need to do these things daily (yes, I bathe daily, but unless you're covered in mud everyday...), but we do them anyway because we want to project a well-kept image.

I'm not incredibly vain and my hair isn't an abnormal color. It just enhances my natural color with more shine. It's not like i'm walking around with jet black hair.
