I wouldn't be using it with the Xbox 360 (because I don't have one) I would just be using it as a stand alone system.

Here's a link to the product spec....as you can see it's $100.oo bucks...which sounds good to me, but I'd like your expert opinions.

Pioneer HTS-GS1 600W 5.1-Channel Home Theater System

I would probably be utilizing it while playing DVD's for the most part.

whilst 600w can no longer rattle the partitions contained in the encompass stakes (undergo in ideas 600w is disbursed over 6 audio device if the sub isn't passive) $a hundred can't be sniffed at for something made by potential of pioneer-it may be solid as a starter device. i began out with a sony dav-s 3 hundred (300w) and that i now have a multiple amp device producing 1700 watts. so i could seize it-it ought to be the beginning up of a wonderous journey.

if it fit your budget, then go ahead and buy it.

Usually Home theater in a box is not that great, but it is a Pioneer...

If you want to have really nice sound system, then you should buy the receiver, speakers, and subw differently.

Most important thing is the receiver cuz its where the sound is generated from

For what I think you are looking for and given that in our age group we are not looking to blow windows out. Its not a bad deal for an older model.
