I just got the Zondervan NIV Student Bible Compact Edition a little over a year ago, and it is falling apart. I'm looking at replacing that Bible with a new Student Bible, but I was looking for suggestions.

Right now, I have the Compact Italian Duo-Leather in the Blue/Green. I really love how that Bible is with the Guided tour and everything. My previous Bible was the NIV Teen Bible which I have outgrown.

I need to have a smaller Bible because I keep it with me in my purse throughout the day. Do you have any suggestions on good student Bibles that will withstand a LOT of use and that I will not outgrow in the very near future.

I really like little guided tour information and extra commentaries within my Bibles.

Thanks so much for the help everybody! =]

Scofield has a good bible. Always look for one with a concordance.

You must understand modern printing and binding methods do not have a long life span. They are not designed for it. you must send it to a bookbinder. For a fee, they will take your Bible apart and restitch it to a leather or other cover. They then last for years and years. You can also combine books of the same size with your Bible.

To tell the truth...I feel kind of good inside every time I have to replace a worn out copy.

A warm, comfortable feeling.
