My lower front gum area feels uncomfortable but when I use my tongue to push against the tooth and the gum area or when I use a floss and push down hard on the gums, it feels so much better. What can be the problem? I had the same problem 2wks earlier on the tooth next to the problemed one.

a gum irritation can be a sign for gingivitis or the early stage of gum disease. have a dental visit to be sure of your gum condition. taking care of your gums could entail only paying close attention to proper oral hygiene like proper brushing and careful flossing every after meal. this can help remove plaque that get stuck on teeth. having a regular dental check up and regular dental cleanings can make sure that teeth and gums stay healthy. water has a lot of health benefits and this can be advantageous to oral and dental health. make sure that you drink adequate amount of water to be able to keep bad bacteria in the mouth at bay. visit http://www.themouthdoctor.com for more gum care tips.

THIS SOUNDS LIKE IRRITATED GUMS FROM GINGIVITIS.
THE CAUSE IS PROBABLY TARTAR BELOW THE GUMLINE WHICH A DENTIST/HYGIENIST MUST REMOVE.
