The Escalade is completely redesigned inside and out for 2007. It is built on GM’s stronger, all-new full-size SUV platform and features a roomier interior with upgraded components, a 360-degree perimeter safety system, optional power-folding second-row seats, and a new, all-aluminum, 6.2L V-8 engine coupled to a smooth-as-silk 6-speed automatic transmission. It's more powerful and a few inches longer than the prior model. The Escalade is about average in terms of initial quality but our firm's studies inidicate that it ranks better than most with consumers as far as appeal.

Like its luxury rival, the 2007 Lincoln Navigator receives a major refreshening to compete with the all-new 2007 Escalade. Lincoln also is introducing the Navigator L extended wheelbase, which will compete against the Escalade ESV. The biggest upgrade is a new front end that features a new grille with lots of chrome. The inside has been improved, with all-new seating, new features, and a new look that is reminiscent of the Lincoln Zephyr sedan. The '07 Navigator rides on an all-new frame, but retains its independent suspension for excellent ride and handling characteristics. The Navigator ranks among the top 3 models in the premium utility vehicle segment in our initial quality study and also ranks in the top 3 in its segment in appeal. The price range for the Navigator also is lower than for the Escalade. For more information, car reviews, photos, quality ratings and articles, please visit JDPower.com.

I just got rid of AN ESCALADE AND WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER CADILLAC. iT STRANDED US ALL OVER THIS COUNTRY. Thank God for On Star or we would have been up the creek at least 3 times. My sister has a navigator and loves it. We are not Ford people always buy GM vehicles but that Escalade was one of 2 dogs we have owned.

The Escalde without a doubt would be the better vehicle.

you ever saw the inside of a Cadillac engine or know how it is made, you would go for the NAV.. Both are gas guzzling monsters, anyway. Check out an Audi Q7. It puts both to shame. Or the Subaru SUV!

neither. they both pale in comparison to other real suv's. only thing these 2 trucks are good for it to put some heavy 24's on and get them stolen the next day.... and for attracting unwanted attention. Want a real suv? look at the land cruiser, porshe, mercedes, audi etc....
