Here's what you got:

Linea alba (Latin for white line) is also a term used in dentistry to describe a horizontal streak on the mucosal surface of the cheek, level with the occlusal plane. It usually extends from the commissure to the posterior teeth and can be found with similar markings near the inner lip mucosa and corners of the mouth.

That's a fancy way of saying you got a harmless white line on your cheeks. I have the same thing. Before I became a dentist I thought it was a racing stripe!

They did that for you, because it could be any form of Cytomegla Virus. That family includes: Herpes, Coxsackie, Measles, Chicken Pox, Shingles which are Chicken Pox, Mono etc.. So, if you have Coxsackie, which your symptoms indicate you do, they can't really do anything about it. (This is what I'm deducing, so don't take my word for it). Coxsackie is what causes type 1 diabetes in children and can also cause Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia etc... No, it does not mean you will get these diseases, because if your immune system is able to keep up with the virus, then you will beat it. All doctors can do is treat symptoms if there is a diagnosis, so they really can't do anything but wait until you have to see them for something. However, I highly recommend that you start thinking about your diet, and really understand that you are what you eat in order to support your immune system. For example, just stand at the check out line of a grocery store and look at what people look like... Then, look in the grocery cart. Take care of yourself.

it does sound like coxsakie virus, both of my kids have had it. It is spread very easy and can be as mild as one or two pistules in the mouth or as severe as hard to swallow, can aslo spread to the hands and feet and will weep. Is contagious while weeping or if have fever. Also may also cause joint pain. It is a simple virus that has to run it's course. My kids Dr. said to use magic mouthwash. It is a mix of half Benadryl and malox that you swish in your mouth every four hours to releive symptoms. Aka as Hand foot and mouth disease, not the same thay affects cows.

This white line, if pronounced, is indicative of a cheek chewer. Any stimulation that causes thickening of the mucosa, whether it be mechanical or chemical, can be dangerous if continued for a long period of time. I would try to discontinue this habit.

More than likely, its the part where your teeth come together when you close your mouth and your cheeks are getting caught in the crease. In my opinion (and Im not a professional) I dont think its anything but if it hurts or something, ask your doctor or dentist about it.

you may have too many teeth for your both and may need to see an orthodontist. The pressure from your teeth or your bite is leaving a mark or a scar on the inside of your mouth from the pressure.

HELLO,

THIS WHITE LINE IS CALLED THE 'LINEA ALBA' WHICH IS THE LOCATION WHERE THE UPPER TEETH AND LOWER TEETH MEET.
THERE IS NORMAL AND NO TREATMENT IS NEEDED.
