My son just turned 5,and I am wondering which underpants are better for him to be wearing whenever he gets a spanking for misbehaving,briefs or boxer shorts,and why?

I don't believe in spanking. There are other ways for toddlers to learn how to behave other than spanking. If you're still spanking at 5, then it must not be working too well.

You shouldn't spank a child of five! He's old enough to listen to reason, and to discuss why you don't want him to do certain things. It's far better to come to a mutually acceptable decision with him than to resort to spanking, which will only make him feel humiliated and resentful - and all the more likely to misbehave when he thinks you're not looking.

Either i think ! But i would say a young boy should wear briefs as they may not be comfortable wearing boxers, they may not like to be all open down there if you know what i mean.

SPANKING ?!?! are you kidding me?? ok, well first of all i'm not one of those crazy people that are all into not saying "no" to their kids, however... what do you think spanking teaches kids? that hitting is okay ? well it's not... so everytime you think about spanking your kids, hit yourself as hard as you hit your kid, then let me know how it felt... use other methods like the "naughty step, rug, chair, bench" whatever, or at age 5 he's old enough to be "grounded" in a sense, take away things like TV, computer if he goes on the computer, i don't know whatever he really likes. Spanking is in other words a bad parent. It's a parent that can't handle their child.

it really wouldnt matter bc if u r spanking him hard enough (NOT BEATING) then he should feel it either way no matter what kind of underwear he is wearing!

Since you're not supposed to strip your child before giving a paddling (because that's bizarre), I would think his jeans could absorb much of it if that's what you're asking. (God, I hope that's what you're asking.)
