I am getting my wire on and it tightened today. What could a take before i go to ease the pain?

Take pain relievers "after" the wire is through. The pain will occur after a few hours or so.

Whenever I have tooth pain I take Aleve (naproxen). It is an anti inflammatory and it helps to reduce selling, which is often a major reason for dental pain.
