Absolutely correct statement thus proving the signs of times in which we live. The peak of human spirituality was during the times of Jesus visitation to this planet and have been continually declining since. Hope for humanity is all but lost in individualism.

Whats the good of having a "fuller more satisfying connection to the spirit" if it is not grounded in truth. What spirit are you talking about? There are many spirits and even satin himself is transformed into an angel of light.

I believe faith ought to be a personal thing that begins with a quest.
Its been that way in my life. So i dont have no one to blame.
I trust the Word of God, and live my life according to it.
I know, if people are not satisfied its because they've lost focus.
they begin to look around them, and they feel disoriented.
i've been that way. but now i've learnt my lesson.

To justify religious practice on merit alone of the necessity would be like arguing that the welfare recipients need more money because working and real life is just too difficult for them.

According to Ephesians 2:1 the human spirit is dead in trespasses and sins. It is completely incapable of reviving itself so how do you propose to revive it?

I think to to connect to spirit you don't need to talk about it, you just need to follow your intuition, or inner being and not care what others believe
