Fusion of seriousness and casualness is required.
If I am serious about sleep, I will never get it. It's a happening. If I am serious about laughing I can never laugh, because it happens. Intense yearning is what makes us close to God, which is again a happening.
But we should be serious about creating right environment (lie down, switch off the lights etc.), so that sleep happens. After that it's sleep which is the doer, not us. We don't attain God, but it's God which makes Itself available to us.

I am really Joyous about God. Is that serious?God has not once required that I be "serious" about anything. I am awed by God. Is that serious? I love God. Is that serious? What does it mean to be serious about anything? Is it to be bound up in thought about it? If so I am not. Is it to know the thing itself or is it to know things about it? I am the former and definitely not the latter. I know nothing about God yet I know God.

I am not really serious about God. I feel there is nothing to be serious about God. It is like a daily job for me like I get up brush my teeth etc........
I do light lamp early in the morning and in the evening before 6pm in the evening like any other daily corus.
I do not ask for anything to God because I am myself responsible for my deeds and not God and just do my duty according to my concious.

You know the concept of "serious fun?" A light tread upon a heavy philosophical concept. We all have our own personal imprint upon the idea of God. I open my mind to the concept of God on a daily basis, although I am sure this concept is different than what many here consider to be the literal "God."

God is you, me, him, her, everyone. He is present everywhere in everything. He is the Absolute Love from Whom we get our love we need to live. Believe or not, He is there even when you think He's not. He sees through you, He walks through you, He watches through you. You are one with the cosmos, and the Universe in within you. Our Lord is beyond everything that is said or believed on Him. He transcends this world in which we are all living in. He is beyond all philosophy or belief which we have about Him. He is that lifeblood who is responsible for the rejuvenation of life on Earth and the whole Universe. God resides in every cell present in our body. There is always a two-way response between us and the Divine. But it is only when the person is a true seeker that this communication line is clear.
Do prayer, practise meditation, do japa(mental recitation of verses), practise pranayama(breathing exercise). All these lead to Him sooner or later. Remember: If your heart is in all these while you're doing it, God will know it!!!

Yes, of course. Why word serious,Sir. It is part and parcel of us,serious or not,It is there and whenever I am drawn towards It, I love It immensely.Often It occurs in spite or despite myself! Tune in and let go within, wanting nothing, expecting nothing,lo! the joy seeps in,miracles start happening;mysterious are His ways!.He is the one who made me what I am,He is the one taking care of me all along,He is the one guiding me unknowingly,I do not know Him,I feel his presence. What do you mean by serious Sir,are we serious about our breath? yet it is so very, very important for life and always with us nurturing us!!

We are not for God and God is for us .That is God does not need us ; but we need God for existence .That is why man discovered God. .
But some people confined God within the bounds of religion and offended HIM, despite the fact that God made man a free entity.

A quick answer would have been 'yes'.
... but on second thoughts, I'd say "NO"
Of late I am too engrossed in everything else but "God" - but it's a passing phase. I'm sure of that. This life or the next ... or the next one ... we'll all be there, you see.
