personally i dont fear death its how i die
it must be painful ! thats wot worries me

We all have a fear of it, after all most of us don’t actively court death though we know it will happen to us at some point. By trying to be healthy we aim to put off that moment. We also try and make the most of our lives, unconsciously we know we really only have one shot at this. it’s not a dress-rehearsal for anything else.
I am – accepting - that it will happen to me at some point. Like everyone I want it to be as painless and quick as it can be, ideally in my sleep so I don’t have to have any imminent terror of what is about to happen and if there will be pain. I have no hopes and fears for what happens afterwards. The atoms of our bodies will gradually disintegrate and become part of the cosmos, reforming into other creatures, minerals and so on over and over again.

Yes every day. The fear of the unknown more though. What happens, where will i go, will i just come to a non existant state, is there an after, will i come back as something else etc..... all the possiblitities.Also, how i am going to die. Again, the fear of the unknown.
Not good at all.

Me too! I just think of death as a time where you get to go into another place and see other things that are not on earth. I would love it if I got to live peacefully and then die when I have to while sleeping. But I know that even if I'm not scared of my death, people who care about me will be.

I mostly fear that the people I love are going to die, but I do not fear death.

I'm the same as you,I don't fear death but how I'm going to die that's the question & I don't really want to know the answer,my mum phoned me yesterday to say that my cousins husband had died of a heart attack,so sad.

Why fear what you can't change. You die when you die.
Like you, I don't want my death to be painful. I either want to die in my sleep, or get killed instantly in a wreck or something.
Maybe I'l die in a transporter accident, that would be a painless way to go, just have your molecules disolve into space when Scotty beams you up!!

I don't mind dying naturally, but would be scared of being brain damaged, confined to a bed or having some crazy Doctor think it's better for me to drip fed for years, even with little more than a heartbeat.
