Bake him some doggie cookies. You can find great and very easy recipes online by typing in homemade dog cookies or natural dog cookie recipes. I make them all the time for my 4 dogs and they love them and now refuse to eat store bought. If you bake your own you will have to keep them in the fridge or freezer and bake just enough to use for a week because they are all natural and do not have any nasty preservatives to keep them for years like the commercial ones do. Happy Holidays:>)

Our dogs usually get a stocking filled with special treats and a new toy or two. even though your dog doesn't know what Christmas is, he does know that it is a special family time and will appreciate being included! Just purchase something you know your dog will enjoy, a favorite type of toy, a treat or two. Just being with you on this special day with something new to play with or eat will be great!

Yea, i tend to put some stuff in my cats and my dogs stockings. I normally spoil them and buy them some really nice food treats, and a really nice toy. And normally, i give them some of the christmas dinner (leftovers of course) as a special treat for the occasion.

My dogs love chew toys and since it's usually cold during this time, you can try to get him a fleece blanket. It's not that expensive, and it's worth seeing your dog bury in it and roll around in the warmth. Treats will be fine too.

Squeak toys, maybe a new callor/harness or leash? I'm getting my dog, squeaker toys ( he's so deprived with the 8 he has at home- he is a small dog) some, bones with marrow in it, tendons, bullys.

i bought my 6 month old german shepherd a tin of really festive dog cookies, a new squeaky toy, and a candy cane shaped rawhide thats about 3' tall and stuffed with peanut butter. im probably going to pick him up the sample pack of savory sauce to, and some greenies to (hopefully) make his breath a little more tolerable for the holidays :)

I usually fill a stocking of treats and a new collar for my two dogs.
The love you give them year round out weighs any gift.

Get him a 12 inch bully stick. They cost about ten dollars but can last a super long time. That is a great gift, although terribly disgusting to US.

Get him a new collar and leash, and makes sure he gets to go along to pick it out. Then give him unlimited walks, and outings. As long as you are with him, he'll be appreciative.
