I love this girls name because it shows so much good! The girl's name Hope is Old English origin, and its meaning is expectation or belief in someone or something. Corinthians 13:13 says that this shows one of the three qualities, faith hope and charity. The most famous people with those names are the daughters of sophia, who taught them well with her "wisdom"

Have you never used the word 'hope' in a sentence? I hope the bus comes soon. I hope I get those boots for Christmas. Hope means an expression of optimism. It was probably one of the Puritan names like Prudence or Patience.

i really don t know...
but i know a greek myth..
in greek language hope is ''helpis''
once upon a time there was ''pandora'' that has a box where she kept all the vitreous for the humans...
she gave that box to people in order to keep them and protect them
i really do not remember who was so silly t, but there was a person that open the box and let all the vitreous run away....
that person close the box in hurry and finally the only vitreous left for the humans was helpis!!!
that means that even if a person loose everything helpis is the last thing that he looses !!!
so they used to say that ''helpis die last!!''
you have a name with the nicest meaning and the nicest myth!!
i also know that hope in latin languages is ''esperanza!!''
