I have always wanted to travel the world and was even going to do a foreign exchange program but my family doesn’t have the money to spend me there. But I am still a junior and high school and have plenty of time to do that. My friends sister recently went through a program called camp adventures where they send you to a place over sea's and you live there all summer long. She was a consoler for kids and would life guard during the day and teach swimming lesson. At night and on weekends she had a pass where she could go any where she pleased! She did not have to pay for anything to go over there or stay there! I want to do something like this once I get to college! Does anyone know anything about this program and what colleges they offer it at?

There are many such programs. Frequently you have to pay your airfare and health insurance up front, and if you're lucky, your "pay" will cover those costs. Which means you need some spending money while there. It's great fun, you're with a group of people in the same situation, willing to make fast friendships. Different plans have lesser amounts of free time, so check them out. They are not a part of a college or university in the US although they may be on campus recruiting students. In the US it's good to participate in a CSIET camp program, not sure if they certify overseas programs. It's counselor, although consoling homesick kids may be part of your duties. Often have to be 18 to participate. Research this and plan for it, and make it happen!
