It is confusing, as to me it sounds like it's a glove to be used for cutting cloth (Guante para cortar tela.)

But, if the glove is made of cloth and is used for cutting [something]? Then it would be:
Guante de tela para cortar.

This is hard to translate. It's not a glove to cut
cloth but to protect one from injury when cutting cloth.
So a way of putting it might be
Guante para protergerse cuando se corta la tela.
Maybe someone can come up with a better version.
