Oh give me a break. Even though we have completely different views on religion in general, I happen to be in agreement with atheists on a lot of social/political issues. Does agreement mean "kissing up"? Or maybe it's kissing up because I don't threaten them with fire and brimstone every breath?
But maybe you're right, I never stand up for myself...I mean look at this question I answered this morning, see how I'm just kissing up to that atheist?

Perhaps Rachel has a brain and knows how to use it.
The hidden assumption in your question is that atheists are wrong to express their own opinions and must be resisted for the sake of the faith.
Please try to appreciate how your kind of thinking led to Crusades, Inquisitions, stake-burnings, torture, the Holocaust, and countless unjustified hangings. When people stop thinking for themselves and prefer the most popular opinion, evil always prevails. I know you don't agree, but the most important purpose of modern cynical atheism is to prevent the obedient faithful from committing further moral atrocities in the name of their imaginary God.
You should also know that it is a violation of Yahoo's terms of service to single out another user for criticism. Rachel is entitled to say whatever she pleases and you are allowed to agree or disagree with any of her opinions. You are not allowed to attack Rachel personally -- which is exactly what you have done.

Geez, who cares? Believe what you want, why is it up to me to shove my religion or beliefs down someones throat. Besides aren't most Christians religions based on a belief to love everyone.
I don't even know if I'M Christian, I'm am Catholic, does that count? I could care less if someone believes or doesn't. I figure it's up to them and Lord knows I am in NO position to judge. I would suspect the same can be said about almost everyone else.
What i get stinking sick of is not being able to come to this section and have an intelligent conversation because of people like you. People who think we have to pit everyone against everyone.
And how the hell do you know YOU ARE SAVED????
Do you have a direct line to God?

Get a haircut.....
Its tough when you realize that some people are more appreciated than yourself isn't it.
When Christians like yourself 'Stand up' to Atheists, what is the result?
Have you ever saved an Atheist by 'Standing up' to them? I guarantee you haven't, so that being the case, are you really doing God's will by alienating people and turning them away from your God's message? Will God hold you responsible for all the people that choose to turn away from Him because of your approach?
Please take a good look at your belief system and try and see if it is good or bad for those around you......Especially given that you have taken to blasting your brothers and sisters in Christ as well as Atheists.
It appears to me that your faith is making you a very unhappy person.

Rachel simply is a free-thinker who has a more complex view of things than you do. That means she won't just agree with people who she shares one belief with. I know this can make people uncomfortable, but honestly they just have to deal with it. It isn't "kissing up" if you don't fit in other people's convenient boxes.
Rachel is one of the people that makes this section more interesting.

Because she is not a religious bigot!!!
Why do you not look at what your postings are doing? Making Christians look ignorant, full of hate and false pride!!
Remember that god of love, inclusiveness and forgiveness?
Well probably not he would not suit your mindset and you would need to ask a lot of forgiveness.
Why pose as a Christian and post content designed to destroy the church from the inside?

Kiss up? What are you, twelve?
Dialogue between those of faith and those without shouldn't be contenscious. When both sides are kind and open-minded, we can better understand each other, or at least try to.
If I'm personally attacked or my faith is attacked, sure, I'll defend myself and maybe even get snarky right back, but you can stand up for yourself and your faith and still be kind and nonjudgmental.

I don't think they "kiss up" to Atheists. There are us Christians who do respect other people's right to believe whatever they choose to. There's no point in shoving my beliefs down someones throat.

Did you miss the New Testament admonition to be patient and gentle with all people, and to speak the truth in love? That is all Rachel is doing.

Kiss up.???
What's to kiss up to? We are not in a competition with atheists. We are not in a battle with atheists.
What's to stand up to? They do not endanger our beliefs and they have their own beliefs. Discussing each others' beliefs is very worthhile thing to do.
I don't know what you are talking about.
