No, Jehovah's Witnesses are not homophobic.
The bible specifically notes that formerly practicing homosexuals had become Christians in the first century (CE).
...(1 Corinthians 6:9-11) Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, ...nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, ...will inherit God’s kingdom. And yet that is what some of you were. But you have been washed clean, but you have been sanctified, but you have been declared righteous
Jehovah's Witnesses are not prudes, and well-understand that sexual desire is inherent in being human. Interestingly, Jesus words at Matthew 5:28 would have applied to any combination of genders.
...(Matthew 5:28) Everyone that keeps on looking at a woman so as to have a passion for her has already committed adultery with her in [the] heart.
As Jesus implied, a person does well to limit his visual temptations, and to resolve not to fantasize about improper behavior. Further, while Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe the bible to teach that masturbation is a serious sin, they do believe that self-stimulation goes contrary to the best interests of a person hoping to remain chaste.
...(Colossians 3:5) Deaden, therefore, your body members that are upon the earth as respects fornication, uncleanness, sexual appetite
Similarly, it may be wise to avoid association with those who insist on discussing topics related to sex and sexuality. Of course, this includes association via suggestive programs on television, films, books, magazines, and the internet.
...(Ephesians 5:3) Let fornication and uncleanness of every sort or greediness not even be mentioned among you, just as it befits holy people
....(1 Corinthians 15:33-34) Bad associations spoil useful habits. Wake up to soberness in a righteous way
Never forget that Jehovah God is interested in the well-being of his servants. Whether a Christian feels inclined toward heterosexual fornication or homosexual fornication, he can expect that God and Christ will give him the strength to overcome these sinful tendencies.
...(Psalm 51:10) Create in me even a pure heart, O God, And put within me a new spirit, a steadfast one.

I don't know about Jehovah's witnesses specifically, but Christianity teaches that homosexuality is a sin and an abomination to God--it's in the Bible in several places; look it up.
As for the second part of your question, none of us "deserves" the love of God and His amazing grace offered for the forgiveness of ALL sins through the death of Jesus on the Cross.
As Jesus said when he sent away the woman accused of adultery (after He had shamed her accusers with His question--"Let him who is without sin cast the first stone")---"Go and sin no more." So homosexuality, like any sinful lifestyle choice, can be forgiven and overcome through the power of the Holy Spirit. But it is not something that a person can try to justify or even flaunt as something normal or holy.
People who are involved in homosexuality deserve our compassion and our best efforts to help them be delivered from that lifestyle.

You assume only according to false clergies, the lie that all these things refer to the same condition of the dead. Bible truth is very different. It is not designed to frighten people into obeying the clergies. "Steve, death and hell are thrown into the "lake of fire". " True according to the Bible. "resurrected people will be judged and sentenced to the lake of fire." True as well. Are you aware of what resurrected means? One must be dead before one can be resurrected or "the 1st death." Hell releases its dead, which your clergies firmly declare can never be done. On the basis of what these people do between restoration to life again and their judgment, determines whether they go into the 2nd death or not This twice dead death does not have any escape from it. That is why no one prefers to be involved in it. What is especially important to understand is that at no time, in no death, is there any torture involved. The loving God, Jehovah, never tortures. He may kill after all efforts to allow them to turn to him fail. As our Creator, that is his right to decide whether we live or die, based on his Righteous standards. Satan and his false religious clergies do want you to believe there is torture involved. And that Satan is forced by God to be in that place of torture for the dead, turning them over with pitchforks to get an 'even burn or roasting'. That is NEVER true. Neither is it necessarily true that ONLY Jehovah's Witnesses will be the only survivors of Armageddon. Both Matthew 24:14 and 28:19-20 state, "of people of all the nations, baptizing ". No where does it state "every single person" will receive such a witness. Whether such individuals then will live or not depends on the deepest attitudes and thoughts which Jehovah and now Jesus as well, can clearly read. Now Jehovah's Witnesses will certainly try to reach every person. We will not know until after all this is over. Plus, you seem to be overlooking WHY there is no more hell nor death. Because due to Jehovah's loving kindness and original purpose, there will be no more death after the conclusion of the judging has taken place. Nor more death means no more need for the grave to put the dead into.

If a person truly tries to live by bible principles then he or she would know what the scriptures say in this regard. Gay people deserve the love of God, To love God means that a person would want to bring their life into harmony with His requirements. You can not love God and continue to break his instructions. Thats why he saved righteous Lot from Sodom and Gomorrah. You can not have it both ways.
(1 Corinthians 6:9) . . .What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men,

If its not wrong why does God say it is in 1 Corinthians 6:9 that men who lie with men do not inherit the kingdom. Its the person we still love the same as God does, but not the sin. So we are not homophobic. We have those in our faith who were but dont practice anymore.

First of all:
Homophobic = fear of homosexuality
JW's take the bible as being the Word of God and, like many other Christian religions/sects, believe that God views homosexuality as wrong.
Those two things are not necessarily, imho, interchangable.
I Know JW's who are not only not homophobic, but maintain a loving attitude towards homosexuals.
Why are Some homophobic? <> dunno. My guess is, and I mean this seriously, is that there are some who may be curious and are afraid of what those feelings may mean.

There are two things in this world. Day and Night. Right and Wrong. Righteous and Unrighteous. Love and Hate. There's no middle ground or some would called a grey area.
“For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life. This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ." --John 3:16; 17:3.
Do you see the word LOVE and DESTROY in the above verses? Or do you see LOVE and do whatever you practice is still acceptable by Me (God)? God is love. Love moves God to give undeserve kindness (everlasting life) to those that seek his KINGDOM and His RIGHTEOUSNESS by EXERCISING faith in His Son (Jesus) and by taking in Knowledge of you (Jesus was refering to his Father) the ONLY (one not 2, or 3) TRUE GOD.
God's love (grace) only extends to those that DO NOT practice what is consider unclean in the eyes of Jehovah God. When God created Adam, He did not create another Man but a woman to give to Adam.
Homophobic? No. If God says homosexuals are not acceptable, what makes us (humans) so supperior that we go and defile Him? We JWs certainly do not want to end up like Satan and his demons. Do we? No. not maybe. No. As far as treating them, they are our neighbors.

Jehovah's Witnesses are not homophobic. (nice attack by the way) Gay people are welcome to love God and repent of their sin, just like any other person.

Jehovah's Witnesses did not set the standards for proper moral conduct.
Ro. 1:32 say: "Although these know full well the righteous decree of God, that those practicing such things are deserving of death, they not only keep on doing them but also consent with those practicing them."

Why are you only picking on Jehovah's Witnesses. I'm sure you will find many Christians who don't agree with homosexuality. We don't hate the people, we just don't agree with what they do as this is quite clearly forbidden by god.
Leviticus 18:22 reads: “‘And you must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing.
People can change with the help of Jehovah.
