Well I can say I am Honored to be an American but not proud. I lay down my pride. I know even being a American brings on problems, and yes the word free is a 2 syllable word meaning meaning freedom oppisite of slavery. But also being born a American, not boasting about it so don't get me wrong, it can have it's bad points to. Nothing last's forever, soon earth will pass away. A new Heaven and a new earth is what you should be looking forward to if you are truly right with Him. Who want's to pass through the gates of Heaven? Well God said the only way to do that is to put trust in Him. So who is willing to give up their old ways right now and put their Faith in Jesus Christ?

I see no right to feel proud of something I made no contribution to. I was born American through no effort of my own. I can be proud of this country, though that gets harder every day. And thanks, but I'll pass on the gates of Heaven.
