Good vodkas should be tasted as in a good martini. Pointless to use expensive vodka in a mixed drink. McCormic is inexpensive.

For a mixed drink like this, use a cheap bottom-shelf brand because you won't be able to taste the vodka anyway. The spiciness, if you make them that way, of the bloody mary will hide any taste of the vodka. I only drink them for the effect, not the taste. If I want to taste the vodka, I will drink a martini.
Good times!!!

If you want it spicy, Absolut Peppar is an excellent choice. If not, I'd go with just plain Absolut. You don't need to use a top-shelf Vodka in a heavily-flavored mixed drink.

Use a true potato vodka such as Vikingfjord or Monopolowa
They are true vodkas and are not that expensive. Most other Vodkas are now made with grain.

Since the flavor of good vodka is masked, I'd use Stoli, Absolut Limon or Peppar, or SKYY

Something inexpensive since you really won't be able to taste the vodka.

Great suggestion from Katie H. You could also try Absolut Limon.

I remember a cheap one called something like Poppav or Popev, not sure. But real cheap and fine for mixing up a good PJ with.
