You are asking for a voice recognition comparision software program. These are used in crime labs across the world, and so are extremely expensive, if not impossible for non-govermental individuals to purchase.

You may be able to use a combination of utilities to create the result you want. What I mean is to use a voice recording software utility, then use a software program such as wave comparisons to see if the sounds waves are the same.

You have programs on your system which you can try out without even buying software. If you need to purchase a small voice recording application, I reccoment Andea Voice, which allows you to record quick notes to yourself. You could then import that sound format into a

You have Sound Recorder on your system if you use Windows. Go to Start--Programs--Accessories--Entertainment, and click on Sound Recorder.

You will require a microphone in order to record sound, but they are extremely inexpensive these days, especially those that are stick like and sit in front of you. All you need to do basically, is plug it into a USB port.

Then, when the New Hardware Wizard appears, simply follow the steps in order to set it up correctly. Sometimes you don't even need to do that, depending upon the UPnP of the device.

Now, if you have Creative on your system you have a program which you can drag a recording into, cut it into up as you see fit, place another on top of that one and then run them both and compare the sound waves. It is called Wave Studio. It is used to create custom sounds, add special affects, etc. I am not actually sure if you can open one sound wave file on top of another, but it is worth a try. You may need to open two windows and then compare the waves of each to see if they match. It may take some practice, but it could work.

Here is some information on Voice Recognition. The first link is an article discussing some different programs, some which cost a great deal and have a lot of features, and others which are shareware, but has less features.

You will need to read the entire article to find all the programs outlined in it.

Now, here is my search results page on the search terms, "speech recognition and comparisons",

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=SUNA,SUNA:2006-50,SUNA:en&q=speech+recognition+and+comparison

I am sorry, but I simply don't have the time to do all of the research for you. I hope somebody else knows of some obscure program which can do what you wish. Good luck and please have a nice day and a happy holiday season.
