Both of these stories made Yahoo's front page, side by side... Do you think either one is less credible than the other? If so, why? Honest answers only please, no bashing...

the deer related to the whale story seems so far fetchedd. it seems damn near impossible. put a deer in water, a deer cannot swim. but as for the man surviving, that seems more possible, i mean so many people survive horror stories, like the donner party. they had to feed off of horses and humans in the cold. and some of them survived. sorry but the first story seems so fake to me. given anything is possible, but a swimming deer. yeah okay. lol.

I think they are both equally credible.

One is a story about how scientists are learning about the evolution of wales, and given the specific traits of water based mammals believe that there is a connection to them and deer like creatures.

The other is about a man who used his faith to keep his family in good spirits.

I guess that if I had to choose between a deer like creature that we have fossils for, and a God that chooses not to reveal himself tangibly, I am forced to go with the fossils. Faith is wonderful until its used to fly planes into buildings....Fossils are a little safer.

Well, the man is still alive to tell his story...too bad the fossil possum can't tell its story....have to rely on the "possible" theory...
