2 week old puppies should be nursing off their mother, and that is where they would get the worms.

no but reg cows milk is very hard for pups or dogs to digest they should only be given puppy formula or goats milk never give them cows milk.
They were probably born with worms and should be wormed ( using waht you get from vet not over the counter) at 22,4,6,and 8 weeks old they also should have their first vaccine at 6 weks old.

Are you talking about cow's milk? It doesnt cause worms, but its not nutritious enough for a pup, and will definitely cause diarrhea. Puppies get worms from their mother before birth and via the mom's milk, thats why all b*tches should be wormed before breeding. If for some reason mom's milk is not available, the should be on a dog milk replacer, you can get at any pet store.

If puppies drink cows milk the lactose causes upset stomach. Also puppies need more vitamins than that found in cow's milk. Then can have puppy milk replacer or Goat's milk. Puppies get worms from their mother or from living outside. Worms infest dogs and puppies from walking on dirt and grass yard. So most dogs do get worms but they are easily treated by a de-worming medicine called Strongit. Tape worms are cause by the dog eating fleas. When a dog chews himself it is actually catching and eating fleas. Tape worms, Round worms, Whip Worms, Hook worms can all cause problems and some can even kill a dog or puppy. Talk to your vet on how to raise healthy puppies.

No dear, it doesn't. But the pup should be on puppy milk. I'm assuming that this dog is either part of a litter you have (with the mother) or is a rescue. But that pup needs to go to the vet to make sure it's getting the nutrition it needs. Regular milk will not provide that.

By regular milk do you mean the mother's milk or store bought milk that humans drink?
Yes, puppies often get worms from the Mother's milk. Store bought milk isn't going to give a dog worms because there are no worms in it. They have to be present for the dog to get them. If they were present we would also get them.
A side note....dogs are lactose intolerant and should never be given store bought milk. It will give them diarrhea, at least, and cause them stomach upset. A 2 week old pup shouldn't be getting anything but Mother's milk. If the mother isn't available the pup should be put on a puppy formula that's available from your Vet. This is necessary for their nutritional needs.

Come on man think for just a second. You know what worms are right? They literally are worms they are a parasite. I surpose they could be in just about anything that does not contain alcohol in it but as long as your food does not contain harmful parasites in it then its not going to have worms and other such things in it. Worms are more commonly transmitted via stool from a dog already infected with them (because yes dogs sniff / lick other dogs stool) Getting worms from milk means really NOBODY should be drinking THAT milk.

No. They got worms from their mother. It is normal. Puppies should be weaned at 2,3,5,6 wks with pyrantel pamoate.
If you have to hand feed them, then goat's milk is best, with puppy replacer being second best. You can also use a home made recipe of evaporated milk, cornsyrup, and egg yolk.
