Did God have a big drawing board? Did he have several draft versions of his big plan? Did it take just one attempt to make man, or were their a few prototypes?

I was thinking that it is a great work of fiction (something that even JK Rowling couldn't compete with in terms of sales), however, I am thinking of writing the prequel. The Bible has no copyright law on it as such, so I am free to write the prequel and just doing a little research on YA, to get some early stage ideas.

God exists outside of time.

That means that words like "before" and "after" and "then" and "when" become meaningless when applied to an infinite being like God.

So: God didn't have to pass away His time, because there isn't any time for Him. For God, it's all, like one big NOW.

But it is fun to think of God and at His drawing board making rough drafts of giraffes, making the neck too short and saying "Nah!" and crumpling up His drawing paper and tossing it out and starting over. Like a sketch on Saturday Night Live or something.

So what are you asking God for? A perfect job? and a perfect life? You had to leave your good friends yet again? Many people cannot even make one friend! It sounds like you have passed off your blessings as curses! When he answered your prayers, it wasn't good enough for you. Yes there are many Religions, just like there are many liars, and few people who tell the truth. Did the lord not say that the path was narrow? and the path to destruction is broad? There are many, many paths to the wrong gate, that is an underrated truth right there. What God, actually speaks with such wisdom? Could people in the time of Moses really have been so smart? If Christianity or the Religion that it is upon was false, and just wanted control. Why would it be so difficult to be a true follower of it? The ones that want control make it easy! Look at highest ranks of the catholic church! They want to please the people, and so they stomp on their own beliefs to gain followers! But the lord Jesus Christ made sure that you know what you're doing, he made sure that the false followers were known. That right there, proves his legitimacy.

I would guess he played a lot of parcheesi with the angels. :)

No, seriously, though. There's no reference in the Bible to what God did before he supposedly created the universe, so all people can do is speculate. Really the only thing that's clear is that the Angels were there first, so I guess perhaps there is some story there with god and the choirs of angels that man doesn't know about that took place beforehand?

I'm an agnostic, but I thought the question was interesting so I decided to take a shot at it. :)

Bible - The Prequel. Love it.
What would've happened? Is this where we see God struggling with his personal demon(s) where he then has to run away from home because his family voted for George Bush Sr (apx the right age), only to meet a radical chick who helps him with the conundrum of which object should come first, the chicken or the egg.......and so on....and so on.

I really can't answer your question fully. I am almost scared to begin to think about what God did before "In the beginning"... you know?

God gave Adam and Eve instructions: Do not eat of the Tree of Knowledge. An they disobeyed. Curiosity got the best of them... should it get the best of us? Would it be bad for us to assume history before God handed us the "complete" copy?

Of course there were several draft versions before man came along. We found them didn't we? They are what we call dinosaurs.

The world also has different versions. Mars seems to have parts of it that are similar to earth. Like signs of water ect

If a human being understands precisely who they are, in relationship to the Creator, the answer to this imposing
question will be automatically given to man.

"Oh man, know thyself."

God is infinite. He is the same today, yesterday and forever. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. We just aren't smart enough to understand.
