He could have given her the knowledge to not be decieved, yet he allowed her to be ignorant, why?

it said she was decieved, obviously if god made her smart enough she would not have been decieved...right?

This question has more implications than many Christians realize. God designed Eve's mind, the tree, the degree of temptation, etc. in such a way that he infallibly knew she would sin. He also designed the universe so that this sin would result in death.

This not only applies to Eve but each one of us. God, supposedly, designed our DNA, our brain cells, our place of birth, with specific knowledge of our failures.

He could have changed these things, and we would have an entirely different destiny. Free will becomes a product of God's will, and it seems ridiculous that he would punish us for his decisions.

That's how the story was written, the reader is to sympathize with God and demonize Eve. Her disobedience is viewed as willful. It also makes God look like an incompetent Creator and a very poor problem solver. His response to Eve's transgression was a curse on all of humanity, forever. Brilliant!

Why didn't God make Adam smart enough not to accept Eve's fruit? So Adam was ignorant as well. They were both punished in different ways - according to their wrong doings.

I believe they were also eating from the Tree of Knowledge. If you ate from the tree of knowledge wouldn't you obtain knowledge of something that you didn't have? They were given certain rules to follow and God gave them the opportunity to choose.

Fair point - free will is simply the ability to choose. Decision making requires intelligence ansd knowledge; more intelligence and knowledge results in better decision making. Had she been better equipped, she would have made a better decision, and God knew that but chose not to give her the intelligence and knowledge required to make the "right" decision.

May I add, Sophia is HOT, a MOST tempting temptress.

He told her not to. How much more knowledge do you need? No, Adam and Eve wanted the fruit, even though they had absolutely everything they could possibly need. She wasn't ignorant, she was stupid. There is a difference. Both Adam and Eve were dumb enough that after being completely provided for, they still wanted something God told them they couldn't have.

Why didn't you mention Adam? If you correctly read the word of God, you would know that Adam was standing next to her as she was being deceived.

she had the knowledge to not be deceived,
but she also had a caring spirit that allowed her as with all her female descendants to listen and feel empathy with the person that is speaking to them. therefore they can be talked into things.
this is what makes them good wife's and mothers, and we would not like them with it.

because God wanted her to like Adam and procreate with him...If God had made her smarter, she would have asked God for another option of a mate

He gave her the ability to choose her own destiny.

It is sad she chose the worst possible thing.

He wanted her to choose freely to serve him, but she couldn't choose if she didn't know good from evil, but it was wrong for her to choose to want to know good from evil, but if she had really wanted to choose to serve him she wouldn't have eaten the fruit, but if she hadn't eaten the fruit she wouldn't have been able to "choose", but...

Hey, wait! That doesn't make sense!
