In the dream, I missed the school bus first, had a fight; or was going to; with a boy, and I ended up in a civics class that I already took and graduated with.

Sounds like there was an important life lesson you needed to learn, and you didn't learn it the first time around, so the lesson is being presented again, and you have to take the course over again, so to speak........

Sounds to me like a missed opportunity. The school bus is the opportunity missed, the fight is the conflict within yourself and the civics class is the rut you feel you're now in.
Just a theory.
