Let us be diligent to Obey Him

Christ is Coming Again!
Let us be diligent then to Obey Him

Before I was afflicted I went astray;
but now I keep thy word.

Thou art good and doest good;
teach me thy statutes.

It is good for me that I was afflicted,
that I might learn thy statutes.

I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right,
and that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.

Let thy steadfast love be ready to comfort me
according to thy promise to thy servant.

Psalm 119:67,68,71,75, 76 RSV

_____________

And if they are bound in fetters,
And are caught in the cords of affliction,

Then He declares to them their work
And their transgressions, that they
have magnified themselves.

He opens their ear to instruction,
And commands that they return from evil.

This means that for a saved person, God usually may allow something to happen in life in order to get your attention.
Job 36:8-10 refers to christians because in verse 7 it says,
"He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on thethrone; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted."
Read all of chapter 36 to get the context.

knowledge requires experience. You don't know what a thing is for until you know how to use it,,,, its function. In the case of salvation, YHVH offers salvation. It is like a marriage. Take His name, and follow His rules. believers followed Torah for 300 years after the Messiah's death, until obedience was outlawed by the "Christian" church. (that "church" is part of the "Babylon" we are to come out of, and into Scripture obedience)

To those who don't know God, it means nothing. Those verses are intended for those who diligently seek God, not those who don't even know Him.
