Many people believe that there was a master creator aka God. If God was an actual being then given the longevity of the universe and the natural order that all living things die, then would it be possible that the creator (God) is now deceased/extint? Could that be why we can't get in touch with him or find evidence that he is existant?

To 'Tone B'.
Of course you would be here. You could be a long line decendant, unless of course you believe that God himself hand made you?

no, God of Heaven is not dead

We have rejected our Heavenly Father so much, and have fallen so far away, it may seem he does not care, but he does care, we just refuse to let him :(

Yes, there's a mass grave at the end of the universe with the bodies of God, the tooth fairy, the closet monster, Santa, Elves, ghosts etc. in it. Really, they do exist... honest... it is written...

Edit: Ha ha, awaken Dawn seems to have confused God and Popeye!!!

I don't personally believe in god but if I start believing this would be the argument that would do
but yeah course it's possible pretty much anything is but would explain a lot although how s/he died would have to be a pretty convincing argument him being all powerful & all...

I've never heard anyone but a few people in my Philosophy of Religion class take that phrase literally! But it is an interesting one. I personally do not think God could die as I think of Him as spirit, which would give him the power to make a creation such as this. But if He/She were created also a being of flesh, certainly. If you believed that we didn't live on after this life, that idea would definitely be in that line of thinking as well.

I think as much chance as any myth being alive then dead..

Are we talking about gods like Athena, Odin, etc etc or the newer monotheistic brands of gullibility?

Its impossible for God/Allah to be dead because was not brought into life like all of creation have been, nor do the rules of creation relate to him

Its an interesting theory, or maybe if their ever was a God he just decided to pack up his bags and leave sometime ago for what we did to his son.

Tell me who/what God is then I can answer your question!
When we try to think of God we fall off the edge of our ability to think and understand so really we must just surrender and accept. We will never be able to intelectualize God..but perhaps we can experience the process of surrender.

If you find her please let me know!

It's very difficult to die when you have never existed.
