A close male friend just asked me that today... If he or another close friend complimented me on my breasts, I wouldn't mind, but I probably wouldn't take it as a serious compliment, more as a joke. I'd probably be offended if a stranger complimented my breasts. I'm trying to work out why this is. I'd be OK about a stranger complimenting me on my face or indeed my figure.

Well the person who you is a stranger, could be a perv?

Your friends are friends after all, you trust them so its okay for them to compliment you.

However, there are reasons why people dont compliment women about breasts, somewhat could make them embarrassing, or rude?

These things just makes people feel bad, or sad about theirselves thus assuming they could avoid questions making them embarrassed.

Hair = everyone has had that
Eyes = Most people have that
Face = last time i checked
Figure = whether they are attracted to that sort

And then breasts = Aload of different answers, dont you think?

Unless a man is married to the woman who owns the breasts, he's not supposed to be looking at them. A compliment would indicate that he has broken this rule.

Unless the person has seen you nude, how does he know what your breasts look like?!

If he's commenting on nothing but size, then imagine your commenting on "his" size you-know-where!

Personally, I'd rather receive a compliment over something I said or did, which is much more representative of who I am as opposed to something superficial like hair, eyes, and other outward facets of my appearance.

It is not accepted in our Society to comment or compliment women on parts of their bodies that are quite "personal"........no different that complimenting a guy on his testicles. A True Gentleman would NEVER mention a woman's Breasts, Bottom, Vagina etc. Of course a TRUE Lady would never display her Breasts, Bottom or Vagina for the public to see. Unfortunately fashions now a days allow the showing of almost everything.

It's best to compliment a person on an accomplishment or a deed.

This is especially true to do for young girls, so self-esteem is improved and values are instilled.

Too much of our society is about T & A.

It's just taboo because of its sexual and/or sexist nature, the same as complimenting a woman for her rear. Even complimenting a woman's figure could be grounds for sexual harassment these days. Also, it's just unusual, and just as likely to be taken the wrong way as not.

Commenting on someone's parts is considered offensive. No one goes up to a woman and says "Hey, great ****!" Just innappropriate. Anyone other than your boyfriend or husband would be way out of line making any reference to your breasts.

If she did those problems together with her very own volition, i don't see why not. additionally, i think of you're getting the idiom "real guy" perplexed. The term does not advise that the actual areas are all real. It potential somebody who does what they are asserting, would not lie, etc.
