I saw fairly convincing documentary (BBC I think) that claimed it was a local event in what was to become Black sea, which at the time was a huge valley.

A) It wasn't Noah's flood. The Hebrews plagiarized a section of the Sumerian "Epic of Gilgamesh", filed off the serial numbers and presented it as their own bright idea.
B) It was Utnapishtim who built an ark and took all the critters that were thought to be necessary to man into its safety.
C) The actual flood that precipitated (pun intended) the tale occurred in the Fertile Crescent about the year 4,800BCE. The remains are still there. Any geologist can point them out to you. Among other things it pretty much destroyed the early Sumerian civilization. But it was NOT worldwide.
D) Every human culture has at some point in its history experienced a devastating flood that caused enough harm and damage to make it into their respective mythos. But each of these catastrophic events can be verified via geological means and categorized as local.
E) The worst flood for which we have any evidence occurred looooong before there was any human around to take note. That was some 65 million years ago when the meteorite struck what is today the Yucatan Peninsula (Xikchulub) and brought about the end of the Cretaceous Period and eventually the beginning of the Tertiary. (end of the dinosaurs, start of mammalian ascendancy).
Hope this clarified things a bit.

Gen 7:!9-20 The waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth,&
all the high hills under the wholw heaven were covered, the
waters prevailed 15 cubits upward & the mountains were covered. Thats 22-23Feet/7 meters above the mountains.
The ark was most probably a box shaped structure and would
not have touched any submerged mountains. The flood would
have been world wide hence the changes in earths terrain &
mountains & fossils in the earths layers even in the mountains
& skeletons in caves & buried in the earth. The compression
of all that water & shifting sand & rocks caused many changes on the earths surface & underground.

I had a very hard time with this one in my life. I fought God for many years about the words within the Bible. I picked my way through it and took out what I WANTED from it. Maybe I was 10% Christian. What was my other 90%? I didn't know. I was still lost .
When I finally "gave in" and went down the faith road and started taking ALL the Bible for truth, I found that the Holy Spirit came to me and started revealing a lot of Scripture to me.
Just because you can't concieve of the physical way that Bible stories are doesn't mean they are not possible. The Flood, Virgin birth, Resurection, Creation, manna from heaven, ............ it goes on and on. This is why it's called - "Faith" and for one - I believe. Watch what happens when I write - "He is Risen."

there is not any international info of a unmarried flood happening at one time over each and every of the planet. If this style of flood as defined contained in the bible did take place, it could have required 5X the water at present contained in the oceans of the international. Getting that lots water onto the planet in 40 days and 40 nights could have provided respiratory issues for each guy or woman. additionally, if this flood occurred, the place did all that water come from and the place did it pass?

God looked upon earth and saw that all upon it were wicked, except for Noah and his family. God warned Noah that he would destroy the earth, and told him to build a ship (generally called an "ark" in English), for himself, his immediate family, and two of every animal (but seven of every animal able to be eaten under Jewish dietary law). Noah obeyed, and God then caused the earth to be flooded, and the rains to fall for forty days, during which all not on the ark were destroyed.
So I would say --- Global

no therefore Quran is word of wisdom and not place of unimportant details
with best regards
BTW if you say that you are Muslim are you believe in this christians will select another thing to believe even if it`s not logical
