I live in the northern US and my hands are extremely dry in the morning. The skin on my knuckles is starting to crack, and I need a treatment.

Put vaseline on them at night and put a pair of socks over your hands, so the vaseline does not get everywhere. In the morning, your hands will be soft. You may want to try the vaseline on your hands, then steaming them, then the socks. This works well too. Just run the hot water in the bathroom sink for a while, and after you put the vaseline on, put your hands through the steam. Good luck!

I live in Canada, so I understand. Bath and Body Works or The Body Shop have gloves that you wear at night with any hand moisturizer that prevent your hand from getting over-dried during the day. The gloves work like a charm, even my friend with eczema uses them. Good Luck.

There is a product called bag balm, in some drug stores, definitely in a farm and feed store. It is used for cow udders, works great on dry skin.

the body is meant to have a natural layer of dirt on it to block diseases, however now that we all shower that layer is gone and things can get through in our pores and block them off, making acne. A combination of dirt and any kind of grease (i use the excess bacon grease i get with my bacon in the morning) and run them on your forehead, dont cake them on but just rub them. this will leave a light protective layer that will keep things from getting in your pores.
