Those symptoms you are describing, except perhaps for dizziness, are all potentially symptoms of stress and/or depression. I would first eliminate any physiological cause, such as a thyroid malfunction for example, with my primary doctor. Otherwise, if you have other symptoms, like sadness or, instead, apathy, you may be as you suspect, stressed or depressed. On the other hand, if you are on anti-depressants, or other psychotropic medication already, they may be the cause of your symptoms. Most of the medications helping psychological illness cause excess sleep, fatigue, dizziness, nausea, among other things, as side effects. In particular, they make you crave crappy food, sugar and other non-nutritious cabohydrates. Some people can adjust, exercise excessive discipline - like exercise regularly -, some can't, and have to re-adjust their meds.

Stress and Depression are two different issues, however though stress can lead to depression. When a person is stressed they tend to worry more therefore will loose sleep and be more suseptable to eat more. However though with depression a person will feel more tired, loss of energy, loss of apetitie, they'll feel feelings of hopelessness, lack of ambition and enthusiasim. There will be more spells of just being quite and wanting to be withdrawn. It's natrual for everyone to have periods of being depressed, but if the symptoms last for more than a couple of weeks or any suicidal, or even self inflicting injouris thoughts occur, seek help IMMEDIATLY!!

It can be both. Depression is diagnosed if u have other symptoms like Lack of interest in normal activities, constant distraction, low moods, fatigue etc.
Stress can cause it too.
Get ur thyroid checked. That can lead to all these symptoms too.

depression can have many symptoms. as people struggle they can overeat or not eat. they can have sleep problems, struggle with temper and anger. yet all these same things came happen for other reasons. a good therapist isnt going to diagnose depression quickly. they will want to know more about what is going on.

Yes, it could be a sign of stress and strain. But before coming to that conclusion we need to exclude any physical(body) causes as some bodily disorders also can cause such symptoms.Get yourself checked with a good and experienced General Practitioner.
