There are things that are happening at the Assisted Living facility where I work, where people prefer to pass over enstead of die in a hospital. Shadows walking down the hall and observed by staff (who promptly quit!) and residents who claim someone walked into there room, in the middle of the night to ask if they were OK and having the voice of a staff member they trust who isn't even working that night. Phones ringing from rooms with no one there to set off the guardian for help. I don't want to be creepy, I am a trained professional working in a facility and all the nurses and other staff have felt the movement of the disembodied. Sometimes I have questions of what is going on. I don't necessarily want ghost busters to come in. The presence isn't menacing, just obvious and somewhat eerie. I would rather have spirits in my facility than a living madman with a weapon.

there is a section under science/alternative science that deals with this
but it is a fairly slow forum though
I went there and got bored

you do a wonderful job by the way
I have the utmost respect for you guys
and you are right about spirit....
I am more scared of the living

but a place where so many die , there is bound to be a lot of energy there
both from spirit and from ghost ( which is just like a memory and called residual energy )
there is nothing to fear

((((HUGS))))

Unexplained is not the same as supernatural.

Ghosts don't really exist. They are a by-product of our brains which are so tuned to recognizing people that we'll see and hear them when they aren't there. In our early survival, it was much better to see someone hiding in the grass when he wasn't there, than not see someone actually hiding in the grass. It's the same faculty of the brain that allows us to see faces in clouds or the Virgin Mary on a grilled cheese sandwich.

Thats awesome - they are just trying to help. Try communicating with them, do it when nobody is there if you feel silly. You may be surprised!

Maybe they should have a category called "everything you believe in is wrong". Maybe this is that category.
