I will put it this way. You tend to be attracted towards a person, who remains cool with you and you show disinterest to a person who is showing a lot of interest in you. Like poles repel and the opposite poles attract each other. This is true of the relations between opposite sex and even between two males. This is human nature.

We are here to serve our spirit. Our spirit can grow using several paths. One is that of tension and opposites: i.e. using love to overcome non-love, this can be an exercise to strengthen your love by fighting. Another path is that of harmony, where you find something which supports and feeds your love which will have the same result, but usually the process is not a conscious. There there is also the path of purification, which mean you explore the false images of love to discover what true love is and is not. Depending on what evolutionary path you chose you get experiences. It would seem you want to learn through opposites (most people in western culture do).
Don't forget if we did not rebel against true love, we would all still be in heaven.

God often gives us the opposite of what we really want because this is the real game of life! We should be ready to face any difficult test which presents to us .We should be ready to tackle any obstacle or hurdle which comes in our life. The Lord does not want to hurt anyone by doing this, but He wants us to acquire experience and better understanding of some things which were till now meaningless for us. He wants us to be stronger in future so as to be able to go through the toughest of challenges in life! He wants to see who among us really has got what it takes to be someone who wants to fight in life!!! The one who gives up in life has already lost the battle even before fighting it!!!

P.S: If we don't learn from our mistakes, then it's no use making them.

In a way, it is human nature, but it is also the pursuit of ourselves. Maybe you are selfish yourself and feel attracted by those similar to you. Or maybe you are not selfish at all, but would like to be a little bit more, and feel attracted by the personality of people different from you and that you admire.

You are the one who knows.

Peace!

Some times it is true, not always! Love ,true love, is unconditional, you are loved as you are not as they want you to be.Hence, one may tend to take it for granted. Whereas a selfish fellow plays drama to please you to gain his ends and we may get appealed by it; we would be really fools then, which we realise, hopefully, later!

The grass is greener across the fence.
I always think that we were rejected or not able to attain, because of us.

Most people want what's hard to get, it's a challenge. Things you can have too easily or that are given to you don't seem to be so desirable somehow...it's wrong but that's humans for you.

Opposites attract. The lover is one pole of a magnet, the loved one is the other.

Don't think much. Follow a simple rule:
:"Love those who love you than those whom you love."

This applies to everything be it career, person, relationship, or any thought also.

Give first and take later.

God bless you.

The selfish person mildly rejects you, and you want to be accepted by that person to fill that need of acceptance in yourself.
