I've had a recurring dream of walking down a dark path, sometimes it's all grey, and sometimes as I walk dow the path it turns ptich black and I can't see anyting in front of me. Any suggestions on what it means?

My guess is that you are unsure of what path you're on in your life.

You don't mention that it's scary or that you feel threatened, just that you can't see where you're going or what's along the way.

So it sounds like maybe you're just at a point in your life where you're just doing what has to be done without planning ahead for your future.

Perhaps it's time for you to decide what your goal is, and start replacing all that gray with images of what you want and the steps it's going to take to get there.

Good Luck

The best way to understand your dreams is to recall how you felt and what you thought. Then try to link those thoughts and feelings to things that have been going on in your life or things you have been worrying about. The brain uses mainly symbols for things in every day life; including your thoughts during the day. An example is: I had a dream no matter how hard I tried to say something to someone, and what I had to say was important, I couldn't speak; I kept choking. They said everything they had to say but I would choke on my words when I opened my mouth to speak. Turns out I was having relationship problems and communication was the biggest problem. I felt no matter what I tried to say the other person wasn't listening. I literally felt like they were choking my words away.

There are only two paths in life. One leads to life, peace and joy and the other leads to descruction and otter darkness.
the bible says "choose who you will serve". If were are not consciencely trying to follow the Lord, then we are choosing the path of darkness.
The Lord wants to help you in your marriage and in your emotions. He wants to give meaning to your life and put real joy in your heart ( joy is something you have never really experienced in your life)
choose the path that leads to light and salvation.
choose Jesus.
