My Question is my curtains are so long and there is a band what makes it shorter without cutting?

You could try folding them over at the top, or hanging the curtain rod higher. You could fold them over twice so the band still shows, and safety-pin them in place (or use decorative pins).

Maybe I don't understand your question, but if the curtain are too long why don't you just puddle them at the bottom. They look luxurious that way.
