My best mate is south african and shes just moved away from me.. shes down at the mo.. i know if i say that to her in her language it'll make her smile. help please

In Afrikaans you would say the following:

1. I love you: "Ek is lief vir jou"
2. I Miss you: " Ek verlang na jou"

Even though we have 11 official languages 90 %of the population understands and speaks afrikaans.

Gelukkige verjaarsdag Ek mis jou! And it's Afrikaans with an s at the end.
