Their like regular credit cards, but you prepay for the credit line. Because their prepaid, they don't need names, so a card holder would just enter in his/her name. It is a lot like any gift card, but it is a non renewing credit account for the initial gift amount. It would work anywhere that accepts Visa.

You can order online, however, some websites will take them, and some won't. You should be able to use them exactly like a regular credit card (up to the limit), however, cash is not an option. You cannot use it to pay off another credit account, and there are rules if you don't use it, after a certain time, the bank it's connected with will automatically deduct a fee from it. You need to read the fine print when you buy one of these cards. Also some of these cards charge a fee upon purchase.

If they ask for the name of the card holder you should give them your name, right? It is your card, right? Or did you obtain it elsewhere? Considering your prior question about "trouble" I'd hope not...

There is no activation fee. It's just like a debit card, but it's not linked to any personal account. You can use it at ATMs if there's enough of a balance on the card to cover a withdrawal - and there WILL be a fee deducted for ATM use.
