just curious, my friend had a bad experience today, that I know one day she will be able to look back on it and laugh, but how soon is too soon to laugh? I don't want to make her mad...

with all "bad' experiences, healing takes time especially for women =]
when you get a physical wound your body takes time to heal its self and that may only take a week or so depending on the wound, but an emotional wound is much greater and it does take alot more time. "one day" is probably months and months away. needless to say, i wouldnt mention it to her again for three plus months =]

Sometimes it helps for someone to show you th funny side of it. If you see someone laughing at what you thought was awful, sometimes you realise that it's not that bad after all.

Just try to assess the situation. only you know when it's okay

Everyone is different.
I'd wait if I were you til she finds it funny 1st. Otherwise you might upset her.

Wait until she brings it up. For now, just let it alone.
